If you said yes to all these questions, then you might be a fit for our team. We are a digital marketing firm in Calgary, Legacy Creative, and we are looking for an executive assistant to one of our biggest clients.
This client has several really amazing programs, that not only have really cool and big projects, but also make a difference in the world.

If you are the right person for this job you are detail oriented, exceptional at organizing, scheduling and planning, and like making sure that the client is happy at all times. The person who is a perfect fit for this role LOVES to make sure that their client (who you’ll be the EA for) is on time, knows what he needs for a meeting, is teed up and has his water in hand. You’ll even know what he likes to eat, when and make sure it’s there for him.

You’ll also needs to be somewhat of a perfectionist. You need to provide quality work all the time, so that one of our biggest sources of revenue is taken care of and happy.

The ideal candidate will have no real ties to any place, because there will be A LOT of travelling. Also, the job is based out of the Dominican Republic! That’s right! You may be living in a tropical beach paradise for this job!

This job pays a competitive salary (which goes a LONG way in the Dominican), so you’ll also have some cash to burn for fun stuff! We’ll also include 2 round trip airline tickets off the island per year.

Some of the jobs that you will be tasked with on a daily basis will be:
  • Interfacing with our team and project managers
  • Following up with Project Managers and having updates for him when he needs them
  • Travel coordination
  • Meeting coordination/schedule management
  • Aiding client  in preparing for meetings
  • Responding to emails and document requests on behalf of client
  • Draft slides, meeting notes and documents for client
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

If you want to be a part of our tribe, you must also have:

  • Passport/ability to travel (preferably a Canadian passport)
  • 3 years experience in a similar role
  • No ties and the willingness/freedom to travel
  • Willingness to relocate to the Dominican Republic
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics
  • The skills to be  well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bonus but not required: Speak spanish
A few things that will make you NOT a fit for this job:
  • If you think work ends at 5 no matter what
  • If  you complain and refuse to take responsibility for your results
  • If you have a generally cruddy attitude
  • If you only like to take action after you’ve been given the orders (it’s better if you have initiative)
